This is very easy to use in the car seat - the shoulder straps fastened normally, as if your baby was wearing a coat, and then the leg strap comes up through a hole at the base of the zip (meaning the buckle is neatly hidden by the pocket when fastened). This enables the baby to be put in and out of the car seat without waking them.
